We want to share with you an important and difficult decision regarding our Preschool.

It is with great sadness that, with the agreement of the Governing Body, we intend to close the Preschool at the end of this academic year.

We will be staying open until the end of this academic year so that the children who reach school age can transition as smoothly as possible.

I want to acknowledge how tirelessly you have all worked to create a nurturing, joyful, and high-quality learning environment for our youngest children. The Preschool staff’s dedication has given the children the very best start to their school journey, and we are deeply grateful for everything they have done to make their early years positive and memorable.

This decision has not been made lightly. There are several contributing factors, but ultimately the Preschool is no longer financially viable. As you know, schools everywhere are facing significant financial pressures, and we are simply not in a position to sustain the Preschool beyond this academic year. We recognise how disappointing and upsetting this news may be, both professionally and personally.
